Doro:
Born in 1982 (and despite of what my skin color might suggest not
dead yet) my artistic career began at the age of three by redesigning
my parents bathroom with felt pens. I can safely say that my style
has improved since. At the age of twelve, I discovered Japanese
manga and I have remained in it's grip ever since. |

Manga:
In days long past, when the dreaded words Pokemon and Sailor
Moon had not yet been heard in Germany, I discovered the manga
Akira in our local library. Then I discovered the Videos.
By now I own about 300 manga in four different languages and about
a hundred vids.

Comic:
Currently holding only one 4-sheet strip I drew for Fumetto '99,
a comic drawing contest in Luzern, Switzerland. The theme was 'Wahnsinn',
which translates to 'Madness' or 'Insanity' but also 'Illusion'.
It's a short fantasy story of a magical test in dragon summoning
going awry. |

Fantasy:
As most of my Inspiration comes form the Fantasy genre, those pics
deserve a section of their own. Many of these pictures are influence
not only by Japanese comic art, but also by French an American artists. |

Misc:
Well, everything else naturally. Currently holds pictures of myself
and my younger sister at a Japanese fashion show. |
